Finance Analyst – Data Migration ( 3 Months Fixed Term Contract)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Analyst - Data Migration to support the successful migration of financial data from legacy systems to Microsoft dynamics as part of a wider systems implementation project.

This role will be critical in ensuring data integrity, minimising business disruption, and supporting go-live readiness.

• You have a strong understanding of financial processes, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and general ledger management.

• Supporting the end-to-end data migration process from legacy systems to the new platform.
• Extracting, cleansing, validating, and loading large volumes of data accurately and efficiently.
• Developing and executing data migration plans, schedules, and reconciliation processes.
• Creating and maintaining data mapping documentation between the two systems
• Supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolving data-related issues.
• Providing post-migration support, including validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
• Monitoring progress, identifying risks, and reporting on migration status to project stakeholders.

• A strong understanding of financial processes, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and general ledger management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, with the ability to perform analysis, transformation and reconciliation of large data sets.
• Strong financial background to understand double entries and impact to financial statements.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Takes ownership of tasks and sees them through to completion with minimal supervision.
  Involvement in finance transformation or system implementation projects
• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics

• A Professional certification (e.g., ACA or ACCA) is a plus
